Fiber Clean provides an easy way to boost your dietary fiber intake. The fiber comes from psyllium husks, which is a popular source of dietary supplement fiber. Psyllium use has been scientifically documented. Primarily, it is used to help relieve diarrhea and constipation. Some evidence suggests that it may also help to lower cholesterol. Each of the 15,000 gel-coated seeds on the psyllium plant is high in fiber. The mucilage, the main substance of the seed, swells when it comes in contact with water.
This bulking effect helps to push the material through the digestive tract and also to help lubricate it. Because psyllium has the ability to absorb water, it is useful to help relieve the symptoms of diarrhea.
Fiber Clean has 500 mg of psyllium husk powder to conveniently boost your dietary fiber intake.
